About Amy
I help individuals create organizational systems and home spaces that feel natural and maintainable. I like to encourage others to envision the primary feeling they desire to experience in a room – whether it's joy or peace or competence – because achieving that objective can help their new system stand the test of time. I’m a creative person – I love to write and tell stories, sew, make jewelry, decorate my home, and design my living space to reflect my personality, style, and interests. I have an eye for color, aesthetics, and spatial design. I’m also good at thinking outside the box and finding less conventional solutions to organizational challenges. In my spare time, I can be found doing genealogical research for my family and others, or hanging out in hockey rinks, watching my two sons play at the college and youth hockey levels.

My talents lie particularly in working with what a customer already has in their home and making small changes and additions that ultimately make a big impact on the feel and function of a room. I have an eye for color and spatial design and am attuned to customers' desires. I'll work with your budget when choosing such things as new bedding, decor, light fixtures, etc. I'm also skilled with a hammer, a power drill, and a level, so you can count on me to hang curtains, mount wall hangings securely (with anchors, if necessary), and even assemble small pieces of furniture or organizational units.
